Hi my name is Joe Freemond and I am a commercial photographer & creative strategist based in Denver, CO. My creative energies are best focused in outdoor adventure, food culture, and travel. My goal is to tell emotive and captivating stories of people and brands that deeply care about craft, whether the craft be that of an artisan working with their hands or of an athlete honing their passion in the wild.

Raised in Colorado I am at my best while in remote locations and high mountains no matter the conditions, and years of backcountry experience allows me to pass along the opportunity to create work from unique and hard-to-reach locations for my clients. Many of the earlier years in my working life were spent in kitchens working as a chef, so anything in the food world & hospitality is still near and dear to my heart and I deeply love examining the depth of food culture all over the world.

I love working with people and brands that are driven to engage and inspire their audiences to get out and explore the world around them and embrace the journey that unfolds in the process. When I’m not on assignment or creating for myself you can typically find me cooking for friends & family, roaming the mountains with my dog Enzo, skiing, camping, or traveling and eating my way through new cities & markets.
